Shipping policy

Shipping Destinations

I currently ship to Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and selected US states.

These shipping destinations are temporary and not final. Due to new EU packaging regulations, I’ve had to temporarily limit my shipping markets. I’m hoping to reopen more destinations as the rules become clearer. 🤎

Please note that once our handmade pieces leave Germany, any customs fees, import taxes, or duties imposed by your country are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost, and we are not liable for any delays or fees caused by customs processes. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information.

Delivery times and prices may vary slightly depending on your country. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out before placing your order.

Return policy

Returns & Exchanges

As my pieces are handmade, returns are only accepted for non-personalised items. Most of my pieces are personalised, so please be aware that personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged under the new EU rules.

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me as soon as possible and I’ll be happy to help.

Please note that refunds are not offered if relevant customs fees are refused or left unpaid by the customer.

Thank you for understanding and supporting small, handmade work! 🤎

Are all the ceramics handmade?

Yes, all of our ceramics are handmade with care. Each piece is crafted individually, making every item unique with its own character and beauty.

How long will my order take?

Each piece is handmade from scratch, which means it takes time to get everything just right. Please allow up to 5-7 weeks for your order to be crafted, fired, and prepared for shipping.

Once it’s ready, shipping times depend on your location:

  • Germany: 1–3 business days
  • EU countries: 5–7 business days
  • UK: 5–10 business days (due to customs)

We appreciate your patience – handmade ceramics are worth the wait!

Are the mugs the same shape?

We do our best to keep the shape consistent, but since each mug is handmade, slight variations are part of their unique charm. No two are exactly alike!

How big are the mugs?

Our mugs hold between 200 ml to 300 ml—cute, functional, and just the right size for your favourite drink! We believe smaller mugs add a charming touch while still being practical.

The espresso cups are smaller as they are made for espresso shots.

What materials do you use?

All pieces are made with stoneware clay for durability and strength. They’re decorated using high-quality underglazes and finished with a clear, food-safe glaze to ensure both beauty and functionality.

While the ceramics are durable, hand washing is recommended to help preserve their quality and finish over time.

Do you take custom or commissioned orders?

Yes! I’m happy to create custom pieces upon request. If you have something specific in mind, feel free to reach out on our contact page and we can discuss your ideas, timeline, and pricing.

What happens if my mug arrives broken?

We’re so sorry if your mug arrives damaged! Please email us at info@rox-ceramics.com with a photo of the broken mug and your order details. We’ll be happy to make and send you a replacement as soon as possible.
